This may sound stupid but, I take creatine, whey, and vitamins and even though i don't drink regularly I was wondering if drinking when i go out on the weekends could possibly adversely affect these supplements. Thanks.

Alcohol robs your body of water and other macronutrients. Therefore, on weekends when you don't train (I'm assuming you don't train on weekends), you should not take your supplements (creatine and whey) as they will do you no good. You can take your multivitamin in the morning, however.

I use whey and also take vitamins. I am not a big drinker, but do so on occasion. I haven't add any side effects that I know of. You may want to read the labels and see if it has anything about acohol consumption while using.

there have been numerous studies that show how alcohol can decrease, if not eliminate, the effect of many supplements, but most notibly creatine.
of course, i'll assume most of us know how well a vitamin B complex will work after a weekend of drinking....LOL!
