GNC or mailorder?

mazzgolf Posts: 74 Joined: 2002/05/28	2002/06/06, 10:16 AM Which is the way to go - buy protein supplements from a brick-n-mortar store like GNC or go through a mailorder/Internet shop? 3 lbs of whey protein (20g protein per serving) cost something like $35 at GNC - I think I've seen some Internet sites that have 5 lbs tubs with higher protein content that are cheaper or at the same price. I'm wondering - is the quality at GNC that much better or is the overhead of a GNC so much more than an internet store?

I show them the ads on the net for the cheapest I can find my favorite brands and add the shipping fees. They give it to me for that price. It doesn't work for everything since they only stock the basics but it works for my protein anyway.

If you have a vitamin shoppe in your area try that too. I go there sometimes and my supplements usually come out the same as they would on the internet, and I don't have to wait for shipping. They have 20-70% off all their merchandise every month.
