I have bought a supplement called protein 95. According to the bottle I should take 4 portions of 25 gram a day. I only use 2 portions a week, on my biceps training day (those are the only muscles I have trouble pumping without supplements). Can this be enough to work?

Protein powders are used to supplement when you are not taking in enough grams of protein from real foods. Real food are always the better choice. So it all depends how much protein you need.

Is it true you should have one gram of protien for every pound you weigh?

OK thanks, I guess that should do. And Sempai, as far as I know you need 1 to 1,5 gr of protein for every KILOGRAM you weigh.

True dutchpower. But like everything else this answer varies depending on who you talk to. Generally most feel you should at least try and eat at a 1 to 1 ratio. If you REALLY want to pack it on try and hit a 2 grams protein per pound of body weight. I have stuck with the later and since April have gained 20 lbs of mostly lean mass. Of course I eat a TON too.

Yeah I have read you profile a few times Sempai. How are you progressing? I would eat a ton of protein, and few carbs and fat in about 6 meals a dayt, were I you. But, as long as you've been around I am sure you are doing great.

Progress is very good so far I have lost a little more than 15 lbs but my stomach is getting flatter love handles are going away I am finding more muscle in biceps and chest legs are becomming rock hard. I am finding it hard to increase protein and keep the carbs and fat down, without using supliments that is. I wanted to keep it as natural as possible. I may have to break down and try the protein shakes.
