Hi,

I'd like to find out if mixing creatine and glutamine in a protein shake is a good idea or not? Is it better to drink these supplements seperately after workout?

Is it also recommeded to take creatine before and after workout?

Thanks!

My perfect post-training shake: 50g protein, 50g carbs, 5g creatine, 5-10g glutamine.

i'll go ahead and throw my hat in the ring:

100g of carbs, 50g of whey, 10g of creatine, 5g of glutamine. and then, in less than 2 hrs., eat again with real food.

I agree with Rev, a post workout meal should be 2-1 ratio in favor of carbs.

Unless I'm bulking, carbs are deadly for me. My body coverts them to fat in the blink of an eye. I can gain 5 lbs from 1 plate of pasta. Seriousley.
