When to take protein... So far I've heard: first thing when waking up; 1 hour before workout; immediately after workout; immediately before going to bed. I can't be supposed to take it 4 times a day! What's the deal?
Protein supplements are just that - supplements. Try to eat meals and snacks high in protein instead of mixing a shake. For example, before bed, drink a glass of milk and eat a chicken breast or some tuna. Solid food is ideal. The powders are there just to help out.
