Should you take Glutamine everyday or just the days you train? Right now I am just taking it on the days I train and I put in in my post-workout shake (evenings). Should I take it in the morning as well?
L-Glutamine is a very good supplement. It is the most abundant amino acid in the body. but on the other hand, the body uses it at a very ravenous rate. It has many qualities besides just in your protein drink for increased absorbtion. Taken alone, it has been shown to increase growth hormone levels. For this very reason alone,it is worth taking even on non training days before bed. On training days too, you may want to have 10 gr. before training,and 15 afterwards, mixed with your protein and creatine drink is a pretty powerful recovery drink.
