protein and creatine

Not sure that this question hasnt already been answered but i couldnt find it so here goes. Are there and problems with taking protein and creatine in the same drink or even at the same time. The reason I ask is because I know protein is most beneficial right after lifting/working out and I recently heard that it may be good to take creatine right after to aid muscle recovery. Thanks for takin a look.

If it's right after a workout take the Creatine with a carb drink. Then take the protein in the next 10 -30min. I think this will aid in the transport to the muscles.

Creatine/protein mix are fine to do immediately after training together. In fact, throw in some L-Glutamine, and you have a great post workout mixture. Old school thoughts were that they would compete for absorption, but that is not the case.

No, in fact it might be preferred over taking creatine with dextrose (a sugar) alone. Take 50g whey, 50g dextrose, along with your 5g creatine. This combo has been proven in a double-blind clinical study to increase creatine uptake and retention just as effectively as taking it with 100g of dextrose alone.

In reading this and Nobull's last post, where would one find a source of 50g of dextrose?
