Ok, here is one from me. I believe this sounds like a great quality supplement for the natural bodybuilder/weight trainer. I was wondering if any of you folks have heard of or tried it. It is called Seagest. It is a predigested whole food protein made from pure whitefish that is 98% absorbable. Rich in Glutamine and Omega 3 fatty acids, with digestive enzymes. Sounds like the perfect bodybuilding "food" to me. There is a website, it is made by a company called TriMedica. The site is www.trimedica.com. Click on products. It actually has ingredients that don't read like a chemistry experiment. Interested in any thoughts. This is not a get big fast type thing, but a good solid Quality protein and much more source.

Your better off to get a hunting license. Deer/elk-only a 3 oz. portion packs a whoping 26g's of protein and only at about 125k cals, very low fat campared to pork or beef.

Well, many proteins are. It is the "quality", you may doublethe dose if needed, but if it is predigested, how many cows do you eat that are readily available for usage? And loaded with Omega 3's and L-Glutamine. Deer or elk may be 75% assimilated at best, and would they do any good immediately post training? By the time digestion occurs....Maybe you should research things just a bit more.

I may have been a little hasty in my reply to you Intruder. But you see, any meat you eat is sure high in protein of course, but that is not where we are talking here. It has to be digested, which can take quite some time. We/I was looking at the benefits of immediate post training. See, that is the time when you want a quality source of protein as fast entering your system as possible. the term predigested means readily assimilated, meaning it is immediately available for use where it is needed. Like a quality amino acid. Plus the fact that it contains digestive emzymes, rich in L-Glutamine,and also high in omega 3 fatty acids are some pretty significant qualities all bodybuilders would love to have. It may be that the dosage is low, true, but you would have to adjust that to your body needs. Along with a fast absorbing carb, this could be a very useable product.

The logic sounds solid. It is interesting that they market it as a digestive aid rather than a protein source though. I'm really not sure what to make of it.

Thanks; I value your opinion of how you think things work. The muscle needs/takes several hours to renurish itself after a hard work-out; A food that takes a little longer/slower to digest would be just as good as any processed supp. Real food should/is always the best choice if you can get it.

I still don't think you grasp the theory here, but ok.
