My body naturally puts on muscle quickly, even though I don't do really heavy weights or take supplements. If I am getting good results from exercise and chicken breasts, is a supplement like protein powder even necessary? My body fat is nearly down to what I'd like, and I'm satisfied with the speed at which I'm gaining muscle, which is unusually speedy compared to most women.

"I am getting good results from exercise and chicken breasts"
It looks like you answered your own question. This is definitely a case of - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Congratulations of getting the system down. :)

I totally agree with Mike. If the exercise and chicken breasts are giving you the results that you're looking for, why change. If it isn't necessary to spend the money on protein powder, in your case it doesn't seem like it is, then don't even worry about it. Congradulations on your progress.

You are one of the lucky ones! Wish I could do that. The money you are saving alone is great. Congrats on your progress. Keep us posted.
