Trying to find out how many lbs i might expect to drop when i cycle off of creatine for 2 1/2 weeks. I weigh 148 now if that helps Thx...

ya, i wanted to know too. after two weeks i gained 6 lbs, how much will i loose after my 8 week cycle?

That's hard to say.
It really depends on the muscle mass you've gained, but chances are you'll lose around as much as you gained. It shouldn't matter in the long run, though.

Hi,
I was wondering the same thing. I have gained like 8lbs over the past two weeks. I'm lifting more weights though, so the pay off is right around the corner.

Sorry, I meant you'll lose however much weight that you gained ONLY from the creatine. You won't lose ANY muscle mass (other than from water retention). Creatine is not like steroids. Chances are it will be about 4 lbs.

I am just finishing a three-week off period from creatine. I would say I initially lost about three pounds, which seemed about equivalent to the water weight I put on from creatine. I did a cycle of 8-10 weeks on creatine. Initially, I put on about three pounds in the first 7-10 days (it obviously was not all muscle). After that my weight stabilized and stayed the same. However, my bodyfat started dropping along with my waist size so I assumed I was losing fat and gaining an equivalent amount of muscle. In my first week off of creatine I lost about two pounds. I have since gained the weight back, which I attribute to my increased calories as part of a new bulking cycle. I am starting a new loading phase tomorrow with creatine so expect my weight to jump again over the next week.

Hmm well 2 weeks off of creatine i gained 3 pounds Go Figure LOL
