You will gain some weight (not much) from lean tissue for sure as protien builds and repairs muscle. Make sure you use a protien that contains less fat and carbs as possible. 0-.5 per serving. Don't forget about all the other protien sources out there besides meat and chicken.

awildcat112 whey is a good protein for post workout. Whey is usually absorbed to fast for constant daily use. This is when protein mixes come into play. Egg, cassein, soy make good sources for the all day protein flow. - Mike

could anyone give me an opinion on this protein...whether it sounds like quality. it seems good to me because it has the whey protein along with egg and other slower absorbing proteins. but your opinion would definatly be appreciated....and be honest. if it sucks, just say so this way i don't buy it and get junk. thanks in advance...

That looks like a good mix for a daytime shake. I think I might order some. - Mike

I think that would be good for day time. Post workout you need the quick absorbtion of whey to help fight the catabolism created by your work out. - Mike
