Hi i am twenty years old and i dont know where to turn to for this answer...then my friend recommended freetrainers so i decided i would sign up and check out the site. It is very good but i still have a question that needs to be answered. I just started taking creatine a week ago and my sister who came home from U of T for the holidays told me that taking creatine while smoking hinders its effects...is this true. She is taking a life sciences course and studying this stuff. Am i only wasting my money by smoking and taking creatine? I mean if i smoke and take creatine while i get the same effects as if i did not smoke. I only smoke on occassion and i was just wondering whether I should quit when taking creatine or whether it has no effect on what creatine is supposed to do? Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks i would really appreciate it!

Smoking hinders everything. Why don't you quit since you only occasionaly smoke? If you are doing cardio and weight training smoking isn't helping there either. You are depleting your body of alot of oxygen, and losing amounts of vitamin c. I can go on and on but.....
Cmon quit.
