I just read a nutrition post the CLA has been proven to be a good fat in helping lose fat and gain muscle mass. Has anyone heard of this? Aparently you can get it as a supplement.

I currently take CLA. I take 6 grams per day and have been doing so for around 1 1/2 months. From the studies that I have read, 6 grams seems to be the optimal dosage to take if you want to experience any type of results. It is a little more pricier than flaxseed and fish oil supplements though.

It seems to work best if you are somewhat lean already. Very subtle effects, not like an ECA stack or anything. Has the ability apparantely to change the shape of the fat molecule. Very intriguing research behind it, most of them done on the Tonalin brand.

I agree bb1fit. Being lean is definately helpful when taking this supplement. I personally am not using for fat reduction or anyhting like that, it is just a good healthy fat to include in an already clean diet.
