hey.....i recently bought creatine by Pro Performance Laboratories..is it 5g of the actual creatine that u need or the 5g of the actual drink....cause its a grape flavoured mix.... i'm assuming that its the 5g of the actual creatine but i jus wanted feed back to make sure.... thanks

5 gr. of creatine is always your correct dose. So if the container has any other ingredients in it, whatever amount is needed to contain 5 gr. of creatine would be your optimal dosage.

If you take more than 5 grams, is that too much for your body to absorb? Cell Tech has 10 grams in every serving.

From what i've been reading 5g before and 5g after your work out is the optimal dose....if its 10g a day...i dont see that as beeing toom much of a problem....however 20g might be...too much of anything is not always good fo rthe body.....this is just my sugestion....see what the other guys think.... the creatine i take is a grape flavoured one so i just mix with water....you can mix it with almost anything...juice,water...depending on your taste... hope this helps...

I think after ones loading phase most take 5 grams before and 5 grams after. and just 5 on days off.
