Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

I usually drink a protein shake in the morning and one after a workout. Should I drink the same amount of protein on my rest days? Thanks.

Absolutely. Your diet shouldn't change when you are on a rest day. Keep up the supplementation and good diet, even when you are not on a training day, as you are preparing your body for its next workout. Your body needs it.
Hope this halps.

Thanks carivan. That's what I thought, and that's what I'm doing, but I just wanted to make sure.

This message board is great.

The best way to think of it is this, you do not grow in the gym! You grow when you are resting the muscles. This is essential then to supply correct nutrients at this time.
