I was reading previous posts about mixing creatine and protein. I guess you are not supposed to do it because they counteract eachother and turn into waste product (Not sure about that). How long are you supposed to wait inbetween taking them then? I go to school most of the week and in the morning is when I have my protein shakes along with creatine shakes on (creatine on non-workout days.) I usually try to take the creatine first and wait a 30 min or so before I have my protein.

I don't know where you got your info from, but it is not entirely correct. You can mix creatine with your protein powder. If you must seperate the 2, then drink your protein shake first.

I think you got some of the info a little mixed up. Mixing protein and creatine in and of itself will not promote a degradation of the compound. What will do it, however, is leaving creatine mixed in a liquid for more than about 10 minutes. That will cause the creatine to start breaking down into the waste product known as creatinine.
