I just want to start off saying that I live at home. I don't go away to school. My fiancee goes to Penn State Berks, which is a little over an hour away from where I live. She lives in the dorms up there, and doesn't have a blender or anything like that. I go up there to visit every weekend or so. I find it very costly and difficult to make sure that I get the proper diet while I visit her. I can't seem to get enough Protein. I can't make shakes up there, because there is no room or anything. I don't like taking up protein bars, because that gets to be expensive. What would you suggest to me? The rest of the week, I do fine with my diet. It's just when I go up there, I can't manage for crap!!! Thanks

One simple remedy is to make a pudding out of your protein powder. All you need is water or milk, your powder and some plain oats for consistency(optional) Just add liquid until you get the thickness you like. This is a VERY convenient way to consume your protein, and it tastes good. I use the little blue gladware bowls and can take them anywhere.

Pudding works very well. By a hand held blender that you can easily pack in your bag and bring along a large mixing cup (usually available with mixer). Or some of the powders mix more easily and you can use a sports bottle to make them.
