If I'm not mistaken, I think Gary Frank used to coach at FRA in New Roads, LA. If I'm correct he's that big guy I saw bench press at Biggest Bench on the River, he ended up dropping 700 pounds on his chest. I graduated from Catholic in New Roads. Interesting to see his name up there.

chris - you may be right. here is a little history about frank off of his website (he does live in LA):

Garry Frank, 36, was born and raised in the small town of Omro, Wisconsin where he attended Omro High School excelling in both Football and Track. While in high school, Garry won four state titles; therefore, he was inducted into the Omro High School and the WIAA Hall of Fame. Garry was considered to be the Strongest High Schooler in the World!

After high shool, Garry was recuited by Mississippi State University where he started all 4 years in football. He won numerous SEC titles and NCAA Powerlifting and Shot Put titles. Drafted in the 5th round by the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, Garry played pro football for 7 years in the USA, Europe, and Canada with his career being cut short due to the blowing out of both ACL's.

Garry has been a high school government teacher as well as a football and strength coach. He is a Certified National Strength Conditioning Association member. Garry presently works with 300 plus youth in the sport of Powerlifting in Baton Rouge, LA where he currently resides with his wife and 2 children.

Garry Frank stands 6'4" tall and weighs 400 lbs. On December 3, 2000 he broke a 20-year-old powerlifting record by becoming the first human being to total 2,500 lbs in just 3 lifts (squat, bench, and deadlift). The prevous record was 2,425 in 3 lifts. He has already broken his own world record four times. On June 16, 2002 Garry totaled 2640!

Yeah, I used to date a girl who's date is really big into powerlifting and stuff like that, and he told me that Frank held the world record for the 3 combined lifts. He was pretty tall, had a bald head, and was about the size of a pickup truck. It was pretty scary when he dropped that 700 pounds on his chest, but the amazing thing was he just sat up walked off. They brought him to the hospital, but he didn't even want to go. Now that's power.

not at this one, lumina, but several sanctioning bodies/organizations do have a division for women.
