The 4th of May it's 57 years ago Allied forces liberated our country (Holland) after they had liberated the rest of Europe. Those guys fought for our freedom, in a war that wasn't really THEIR war. On the 5th of May we commemorate all the people who gave their lives during this war, trying to set us free. I would like to use this board just to honor those thousands of men, and keep the memory alive...I want to get as much messages on this board to honor those guys, so please leave a message.
Thanks

Thank you for the memorium.
My Grandfather was 2nd Wave on Normandy. Purple Heart recipient.
My Father is a Vietnam Vet. (He won't tell me anything about that still, and I'm 32.)
I'm a Gulf War Vet.
I can only hope and pray that my son doesn't become a Vet. Although, my family has an appearent legacy going on here.
