I started up again, but alot of people told me to use vitamin E cream, cocoa butter, or any other kind of moisterizing cream to get rid of them. I used cocoa butter then switched to vitamin E. They both worked fine but cocoa butter gives off a strong smell that you might not want. They take time to get rid of but that should help. -------------- Whatcha gonna do brother!!!!
punkymoonfry Posts: 1 Joined: 2003/06/13	2003/06/13, 01:03 AM Try using a lotion that contains retinol. Retinol works by removing the surface layers of the skin, so basically while it won't make your strecth marks go away, it will minimize their appearance.

padua Posts: 219 Joined: 2003/02/17	2003/06/29, 02:08 PM you also have to know that it depends on the size of the strich marks......small stetch marks can be lighten up with all the lotions that are posted above .....thick and big stretch marks will not go away....when you loss any weight that skin is going to sag that is why so many people get tummy tuck...........

padua Posts: 219 Joined: 2003/02/17	2003/06/30, 12:39 AM .i'm sorry about your bother richardjst.....my grandmother is on her dealth bed and i can't get to her ...she lives in Puerto Rico and i am in Pennsylvania....the worse thing about it is that last week i was in Florida visiting a friend and when I got back my mother told me about it...she is 86..........modelluv_1 i truly deeply feel for you the memory of it all must hurt more then anything....i was abused as a child by two of my uncles but never raped .....my one uncle was married to my aunt(mother side)and the other one was my mothers bother......I was 9 and then 10 when it happened never told my mother......but the memory is what hurts more then anything so i hope that one day we can be at peace with unwanted memories.....sorry for my story sometimes i get into writing more then i should...:(
bowers Posts: 179 Joined: 2003/04/13	2003/06/30, 02:33 AM I am truely sorry for your horrible situation but I have some bad news stretch marks never go away you may temporarily be able to reduce the appearance of them but they never ever "go away" sorry its just a medical fact. Good luck

padua Posts: 219 Joined: 2003/02/17	2003/06/30, 10:35 AM some stretch marks depending on how big they get can go away my friend got stretch marks go all around her stomach up her belly and 2 inches below her chests they are about 2 inches width and hers turned purple.......not a pretty sight........i don't think they will evergo away ........the worse thing about it she shows them off.....that sight is worse.....i do have a friend that used vitamin e when she was pregnant and never got one stretch mark............but any way tara you look skinny you must have gain alot of muscles really fast ..........lotion up.........

I'M ASHAMED OF EVEN UNDRESSING IN FRONT OF MY HUSBAND AND WE BEEN MARRIED FOR 5 YEARS. HE KEEPS ASKING ME WHY DON'T I UNDRESS IN FRONT OF HIM. I TELL HIM I DO BUT ONLY ALL THE TIME I HAVE GRANDMA PAINTYS ON AND THATS SO SHAMEFUL. I WANT HIM TO SEE ME AS BEAUTIFUL AND SEXY BUT I KNOW THAT WILL BE HARD TO DO IF I DON'T EVER GET RID OF THESE UGLY SCARS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT TO DO. I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR ANY LASER SURGERY I'M NOT SO FORTUNATE.
