its for both if you keep your legs straight its for hamstrings and back if u bend the legs its more for back

Reagular deadlifts i do for back with great results. Staight legged deadlifts i do on leg days for hamstrings. So what kind are you talking about?

all i know is that they are for both back and legs depending on how u adjust ur legs
