I use the cheap stuff that i find at the health store. As long as the grams are equal and its micronized. There are hundreds to choose from, i don't think that they are that different.

You can get plain creatine, or creatine mixed with alpha-lipoic acid and dextrose (Labrada's Creatine Cooler, Cell-tech, etc.) The prices for the plain creatine are usually much cheaper, but the creatine with the transport system may be more effective.

For plain creatine, I get Prolab, which uses the Creapure brand of creatine. You can get 1kg pretty cheap if you look around. I'm not sure if GNC carries prolab, but I think they do.. You'll have to check..

I don't know which creatine is the best, but i have heard about prolab being good. What I need to know is, if liquid creatine is as good as they all say? I mean I have this stuff but not sure whether it's better or worse than the powder. And is it more beneficial to have creatine with dextrose?

Creatine absorption is primarily dependent on the hormone insulin. If your body doesn't secret an overabundance of insulin, your muscles simply cannot absorb creatine. The best way to increase your insulin level is to take a high amount of simple carbs. If you don't have enough of carbs, your body will fail to secrete the insulin. Therefore, it is recommended that you take 75 grams of dextrose (a carb). Dextrose rates 100 compared to 59 sucrose and 58 grape juice for creatine absorption in the glycemic index.
