What are the best exercises to help increase my vertical? I really want to be able to get up higher on the basketball court. Thanks.

There are many leg exercises which help..
1. Doing step-ups on to a block, you can add weight if it's too easy.
2. Also train your calves, with high reps and number of sets.
3. You can also perform light squats where you jump up at the top portion of the movement. Push hard with the calves.

When I use to play ball I would wear ankle weights during the first half of practice. That really seemed to help me; slowed me down though. but when I would take them off watch out. :0)

Your calves have a lot to do with your ability to jump. They're not the only things but they are deffinetly one of the biggest. Build them and practice a lot. It'll come to you with time. Alkatraz

Improving your quick twitch muscles will help your vertical leap.
Try hopping on to various height boxes. Search on the internet for Plyontronics method of training...I think that is how you spell it :)
