Gotta mumble this out :)
For 3 weeks now Ive been keeping a log of my workouts and all I can say is.... It works great. Every darn time I train I always succeed in adding a extra rep or 2 at/near the ends of my sets. Or even adding some weight :)
But man this helps to motivate your ass oso badly I love it.
Every week that goes by I get stronger ;0

I have to admit just seeing the extra weight that I have added from wk1 to wk2 is really motivating, keeping a log is really a great tool to use. It has helped me get more organized as well.

Logs are a good idea. I can look back a few years and see my improvements. I enjoy seeing the progress.

Say yeah, logs really help to let you know whats really working to improve. Helps to separate the BS from whats real.

What is the best way to break down your log? I have never used a log and I guess I should. Is using a simple notebook that is broke down into days and exercises best?

I have been keeping a log of food, workouts, measurements, weight and everything else you can think of with a computer program called LifeForm. its great, you can makes graphs of just about anything you can think of. seeing the graphs and all the info on the food that i am eating helps me otherwise tracking calories/fats/carbs and all the other things would be a pain.
