Welp I was forced to stop jogging cause of a knee problem so instead I started biking.
Now I use to jog first thing in the morning b4 eating and seemed to be great for losing fat....But now Im doing some biking and doesnt seem to help as much....
You guys think jogging IS better then biking to lose fat?
I train at like 6 pm after supper , maybe go do more biking after workout ?

Jogging is perhaps slightly better becuase more of your muscles are put to use. For instance, when you are jogging you are moving your arms; as opposed to a bike where they are stationary ...
However, both are great ideas! Just give it your best!

Is it just me or is running/jogging and knee problems a trend here?
Jogging can be hard on the knees as we all know, but even harder when the jogger is too heavy. Save your knees and try some other activities. If biking is not doing it for you, try swimming.

I think there equal in fat burning. You just have to ride a bike longer. But hey you also get there faster on a bike. I would rather bike any day than run. Go off road Mt biking and you'll love it.

Ya ride longer seems like a great idea , I mean so far all I do is 12-13 minutes and i sprint the damm thing...Maybe I should slow down a *little bit* and go for like 20 for starters up to 30 minutes.... But I know myself Ill end up sprinting for 30 in the end...
Ya off road would be great but the snow is still melting here and the mountains still have snow or tons of mud.... Gotta wait another month for off road.
But one more question if any gets to see this , would it be a good idea to also go biking after my 7PM workout? I just LOVE biking so.... If its a good idea i will do it. Just dont wanna overtrain here...

longer rides are needed. If you're only sprinting 12 or 13 minutes then you are not getting into a good fat burning zone. You need 30 minutes or more. Getting the heart rate up is important but so is keeping it there for a while.
