Just need more advice :)

Well Im on the FT 8 week mass program and I got 4 weeks to go to complete it. Now I notice i am getting heavier but I think some of the weight is fat...(belly SEEMS to be getting bigger). So Im guessing that i NEED to complete this 8 week program and then concentrate on the belly. That a smart move? Is it simply how this works? .... Eat like a pig , put on weight , some unwanted then burn THAT unwanted fat ? ....

Hey bombx,

the idea to putting on size is to eat plenty!.. but still stay healthy.. red meat, chicken, eggs, etc. But it is also tru that you need to put on some fat to gain serious mass. What you are doing with the mass program is laying a foundation.. then you can sculpt the fat away .. so you are on the right track.. keep it up!

yep Arnold is absolutely right. You can't both add lots of mass and sculpt at the same time. But make sure your diet is balanced so you have a healthy heart... good luck

What they say is true, but I want to make a point which is: Make sure that you don't gain so much fat, or else after sometimes your body will get adapted to it and it will be impossible to lose it again..so just be careful...

Control the fat by doing good cardio like swim or run or play bball. I don't have much of a problem with gaining fat yet, but that's what I will do when I have to worry about it. Also, gradually build your abs by doing an ab routine 3-4 times a week and you'll see that six pack push through in no time. Stay focused. The Hog.

Alright fair enough guys...

Need more advice....

Yes I do eat healthy , I also do mountain biking 3 to 5 times a week for 1 and a half hour each time. Now I do that biking about 3 hours after I do my workout.
Is this all good ? I cant really think of any bad *side-effects* of doing this so Im asking yas....Just in case you know...

Btw I workout at 3 pm , eat supper at 4pm then wait 2 hours before going biking.

Merlin: Hmm abs 3-4 times a week ? I do once a week right now but wouldnt anything over twice be too much?

Dan , good day guys

Well I think you should wait for the programme to end....but if you are getting too fat then you might need to reconsider......there might be something wrong with your diet....best of luck

a good way to control fat is to run, but not distance which most people think. run a mile every day or so, but run it fast. dont spend 30 minutes running several miles, except maybe once a week. try to make your mile time go down, this will burn fat and not muscle. distance running (and i assume mountain biking) can burn muscle. have you ever seen a buff marathoner? try it and see what happens.
