Does anyone out there ever struggle with motivation? I have been lately. Harder to get up in the morning and lift and not as motivated to eat what I should. I hate these ruts. One of you cool cats give me some motivation please. I need it!! I love to lift and see my progress, but for some reason, in cyles, it seems I rebel against myself, you know.

As far as motivation goes if you can't do it yourself nobody is going to do it for you. In order to achieve you must hold your head up high moving forward continuously chasing and achieving your dreams.

thanks Bilk. That's all I wanted. A little pep up you know. I know nobody will do it for me. That's just plain silly. But seriously, I appreciate that!!!!

I understand what you're going through. My motivation is a picture of myself before I started working out again. Trust me, that pic will motivate anyone to get off their butt and lift! I was sick of being skinny and tired all the time. Since then, I packed on a few more pounds, made some very noticable muscle gains, and have a more positive outlook on everything now than I did before. You'll get over it; just keep your head up and stive for you're goals.

Thanks JB. That's a good idea. I can dig up one of those old pics to put up in the mirror and reflect on (pardon the pun). How much did you weigh and how about right now? Or is all that in your profile? Thanks again for understanding.

Go to the community showcase and search my name. Limited info, but it'll answer your question.
If you can't find an old pic, I'll send you mine. You'll freak out and get huge in no time!

I use the reverse. I picked a picture of a bodybuilder who I am a fan. Set it up in a place I will see each morning (Like the bathroom mirror) and after a year now I have become a small version of the picture. I would have never kept going to the gym on a regular basis nor eaten' so well had it not been for the picture of my dreams.

yeah man. Go ahead and send me a pic. My e-mail is timberzwolf13@aol.com. My pic isn't really that serious but I'm going to post one of my physique. So it seems like we are built the same way. What supps do you take? Where do you live at?

Oops, I just saw that you're 23. So too bad we can't lift together. It would be nice to lift with someone with the same goals and body type in mind. Later.
