If i'm doing Heay Squats for like 6 reps do i need lifting belt to support my back? what about deadlift do they need the belt? i do feel sorness after squats and deadlifts...
Personal preference in my opinion. I actually read an article a couple of weeks ago that reported greater utilization of strength (i.e. more weight handled) by using a weight belt. As long as you don't start using the belt as an excuse not to work abs and lower back, you should be okay.
yeah I agree with the_w8lifter. It's really a matter of preference, but in my opinion if your progress is steady then your muscles will develop and you probably won't need to use a belt. If you have a history of back injury and still want to perform the exercise, then you should probably have a belt
