Just wanted to see what others think about how I am doing with the weight I am sqatting. First off, I am 5'5, 123lbs, and am right in the middle of the 12 week program. I was able to squat 160 yesterday- 6 reps...and could have done a few more. How does this sound? I just wanted to hear from others...to see if maybe I am lagging...and should be pushing for more. I know it's whatever you can handle without injury...but was wanting to get some thoughts. Thanks! SG
That's excellent! How deep are you going on the squats? If you're doing the squats with decent form, keep adding weight in small increments. Remember, don't sacrifice form for the ego boost of using heavier weights.
