too much vitamins?

yea i heard somewhere that too much vitamins can actually become toxic! this worried me. i take two mega man(the gnc brand), usually eat at least one protein plus power bar a day, if not two(these also have a lot of vitamins). plus the vitamns i get from food. Is this too much? please help if you know.

Yes certain levels can become toxic. However, the levels of toxicity are specific for each vitamin. Do a little research on each vitamin/mineral and double check to see if you actually are ingesting toxic amounts.

IM in the same shoes too
I worry a bit too...I take a lot of vitamins too.
I take mega man vitamin too, but I only take it 1 a day
2 is too much,,,centrum is also a multi vitamin
recommend dosage is one per day..why gnc is any different ,, mega man has more vitamins in it. if anything it should be less...

remember that you all are just talking about vitamins here
some pills contain 500 mg others a 1000 mg
1 - 2 pills a day should do no harm even with the vitamins you get from food and other supp.

I take 4 pills a day and have no prob.

too much can hurt ...
i mean if you eat right,,,than i don't think you need high dosage
of multi vitamins
