Was just going to introduce myself here. 22 year old college student trying to get back in shape. I am working on a potbelly that just has to be removed. That is my priority, everything else that falls inbetween will just be a plus! Of course, due to my collegic activities I am the walking cliche of the broke college kid.
I consider myself to be pretty ignorant when it comes to some of this stuff so anything hints, helps, support or suggestions will be great so long as it comes to me in lamans terms. (still researching) I am very glad I found this place, while I do not have too much structure in my life, I will need a S-load of it for working out. My plan is the simple at home work out, lose fat and lean up, because I can't afford a membership at a gym and my broke arse school doesn't have one. (that I know of)
I have a few questions.
First and foremost, is there such a thing as too much running? Today I ran for about 30-40minutes, using the ever so popular run/walk combo. Now my work out plan issued here says to rest. Infact it seems like I am resting more than I am working out. My orginal plan was to run 20-40minutes daily.
And let me inform you that I am a firm believer of running is the devil.
2nd) Diet - I am to assume that off the menu provided here I can just mix and match these things around and form my own meals. I typically only eat 2-3 times a day, I am just not hungry. What is a typical day in the diet of the healthnut? Just one example will do dandy.
3rd) How do you people even begin to address thanksgiving and christmas. OMG!
