Hey everyone,

I just started the 12 week mass program last week. Wondering what anyone else's results on it were?

I'm in week 10 and haven't missed a single workout. Here are my results:

Added ten pounds bodyweight. Increased weights, reps, and/or improved form on nearly every exercise. Added one inch to my chest. 3/4" to each arm. My shirts are tighter and I'm getting lots of comments! Not bad for an old fart (46).

I highly recommend you use the tools they give you here and enter all of your weights and reps into the database. Check out your progress charts, especially on the free weight exercises like bench, deadlift, curls, and squats. If you are doing everything correctly, you should see a generally upward slope on all of the graphs.

Wow, those results sound awuesome musclebuddy!! I can't wait to go to the gym!!

Question, I am only in week one and there are only 4 exercises per workout. Do the number of exercises increase per week, (i.e. next week I will have 4 chest exercises to do as opposed to three) or am i just looking for increases in weight?

Thanks!!

Three exercises per bodypart is the most you'll ever see on this program, which seemed fine to me. As far as progress, I always strive to be stronger each workout. If I can improve form, or do more reps, or add weight each workout, then I'm happy. If I can do more reps with good form with a particular weight than is prescribed in the routine, that is the time I add more weight.

I'm in week 9 and I've gained 7 pounds. Man I haven't done deadlifts in months before I started this workout and I'm starting to get results off them.

I based myself on the program and gained about 8 pound, but lost some fat. Unfortunately I didn't take my body fat pourcentage before. Consider that I gained a little more than 10 pounds!!

I am on my first week of this program and have a couple questions. How many calories a day should I be eating? Also, what should I be eating. Should I being doing abs with this 12 week program. Thanks for your input,
