The best routine you can work on is your diet. Exercise is an afterthought once you learn to quit eating junk (pizza, soda, fried food, candy, chips....junk).

Ok.. i am 14.. and i am in good shape.....here is what you shoudl do...yes change your diet.. i mean it isnt that hard there are healthy choice of foods that actually taste great and with soda. QUIT that.. focus on only drinking water.... but.. what i do for excercising....on Monday..Wednesday and friday, I work different muscle groups those days.. and on tuesday and thursday i get some cardiovascular done.. i will run a mile or two wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt.. I wear that because it gets hot and i sweat a lot but make sure you are drinking a lot of water.. you need to drink a lot of water in order to sweat a lot

I partly agree with that however for some people is IS HARD to change their diet for various reasons. For some people is a psycological thing. They feel the need to eat when they are sad, bored, depressed, or stressed. And the foods they eat may be fine but its the amount that is the problem."Too much of a good thing" can be bad. Also if you drink alot of water, yes it makes you sweat more but thats all you're losing is water and not fat.

I'v been in your position before when i was 13 and doing push up and everything isnt going to help. What you need to do is probably get out more and start with basic activities that involes running (i decided to jog) like tag or other fun activities. You also got to learn how to control your crave for junk food ( i use to always eat junk food and fast food when i was 13 now i am in control of what i eat) and eat healthy food.
Conclusion is get out more and start doing some activties that involes running and enjoy what your doing because you have to remember that your doing this for many weeks not just over night. Also you got to learn how to control what you eat and not to over do it.

Its good that you're doing push-ups but if that all your doing you most likely will not see the results even if they are there. You have to start doing some kind of cardio (running, oliptcal, jogging, walking, etc..). Also make sure your diet is clean, go out and play some sports for your cardio if you don't like the other options. Just have fun!:)

i have a friend that thinks diet pills and 60 pushups a day will help him lose weight. 2 months later all he lost was 3 pounds. thy running or swimming. burn calories. there are no shortcuts.
