As of right now, without good eating habits, I weigh between 133.5-137. I'm about to join powerlifting and I have a choice between the 132 class or the 148 class. Technically I'm in the 148 class right now but should I lose the weight and be the top of a lightweight class or be the bottom of a bigger class? There is no inbetween class.

How long have you been liftin for. If your just starting out, I would say 148.
Otherwise, 132 defianetly. Hell, if I was you I would cut down to 123. Some may even tell you to go all the way to 114 (Im 90% sure thats the weight class).
5lbs can be lost the night before.

Definitely drop 2lb and do 132lb...much easier to drop couple pounds than to gain 10-14...and competing at the lower end of the weight class vs upper end is just creating pointless obstacles...which will impede your success....
