It is never to early to start eating healthy and exercising. There are a lot of old myths out there about weight training at young ages, but most have been dispelled.
Start with a beginner routine, you can get a free workout here at the top of the screen.
Eat a wide variety of healthy foods - look up the Grocery List for Healthy Eating (it is a sticky in this forum) and base your food choices on the foods in it.
As stated above - cut out junk food and sugar.
Also , try to be more active in your daily life, walk or bike when you can, take the stairs insteadof the elevator, and most of all - have fun being an active teen. Play out door pick-up games that you like, basketball, soccer, etc, rollerblade, bike, hike...there are lots of ways to be 'workout' that you don't have to be in a gym to take advantage of.
-------------- Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they\'re yours.
