I'm a Packer fan, but I didn't want the Patriots to have the satisfaction of having a perfect season, plus I love watching the underdogs come out on top!

Sorry about the Cowboys BB1, you and I got kicked out of the playoffs the same weekend. I'm still sorry about the Seahawks/Cowboys playoff game from last year. It actually made me cry when Romo did what he did. Even though we won, I felt really really bad for you guys. Adding on to Yessica's comment about the book 19-0, I was at the mall yesterday and there were Patriot's Superbowl Champion banners in the window. They were on clearance of course, but seriously. Very over-confident. No Giants champion banners though. Hmmm.

yessicarathsak Posts: 249 Joined: 2007/09/20	2008/02/07, 04:06 PM It seems like the Patriots were banking too heavily on their winning, which just makes it even better that they lost! :big_smile: I understand having all the championship clothes and hats ready ahead of time, so the teams can wear them right away, but really, banners, commercials, and books all celebrating a win that hasn't even happened yet? Come on. Sounds like they deserved to lose based on how cocky they were alone.
BILL06 Posts: 755 Joined: 2006/08/08	2008/02/16, 11:01 AM You can all go kiss my patriots loving butt, if it wasnt for the ref's not calling holding on any of the giants last drive we'd be 4 time champs, but say what you will about the pats, we broke almost every nfl record this year and you cant deny us that, between 18-1 this season and winning 21 games in a row over the 03-04 season is just dumbfounding and will never be achieved again.... miami's 17-0 is second best to the pats 18-1, we played 2 extra games, in bad weather against 5 playoff teams with records in the .600's compared to the dolphins where their opponents teams were all less than .450... -------------- How do you feel?
