I am a 1st timer taking fitness seriously. I'm 34 yrs old & haven't done any real active, organized excerise in 20 yrs. I'm 5'11" 210lbs. I need to find something to give me routine in my life. I'm currently under going a Dr controlled Opiate detox for a pain killer dependency. It is a 1 month process that will begin for me on the 14th of July & end on the 13th of Aug. All day today I've been doing research online. I've been inactive a long time & am looking forward to the sweat & the pain. I am going to begin tomorrow slow with just a good brisk walk @ 5:30AM as I rise early anyway. My excerise program here begins Mon. & I am doing cardio on my off days. I'm a stay @ home "MannY" for 2 boys, 5 & 8. I've begun a diet diary & will be keeping track of everything I put into my body for the next 60 days. If anyone has any specific advice as to what kind of foods will help me & how I should approach this I would appreciate any ideas or advice.
