Anyone know of a good resource to find menus based on daily caloric intake? Perhaps some of you have already created one or a have a good food journal with calories? I'm helping a friend get to a happy weight and know the weight training/cardio parts...but not the dieting part!
(BTW - I know that ft has the tracking and calorie list by food but I'm looking for a lazy way out...you know, no need to re-invent the wheel...)
Many thanks in advance for your help :)

Just count your grams of P/C/F/ . If you know what you are supposed to have according to those nutrients you can convert it to calories for your info. P=4 cal C=4 Cal F=9 Cal Hope this helps.

Thanks Carivan. I'm more looking for what people eat...like 1/2 c. oatmeal = P/C/F cal, 1 egg = ..., sandwich..., protein shake...
I'm hoping to use others' menus and modify them to get in my range (P=150g, C=300g, F=30g - approx.). I don't currently track what I eat and haven't really had luck with food journals.

If you want a book, I have a really good Betty Crocker one called "Eat and Lose Weight". It's full of good recipes, and some suggested menus for 1200 calories.
