yep....still can't believe Ronnie challengred Dexter to ab and thigh pose and won it in Mr Olympia...that is Dexter's best pose....that was outrageous....he was in the best shape and was the most proportional/symmetric bodybuilder there....and he managed just 4th place....those contests are fixed....you have to be blind to give him 4th....

lol@dexter saying he's all pro steroid testing and that he never actually took any....He's a good bodybuilder but I hope he doesn't think the rest of the world is a bunch of morons...

Yep you don't have one of the top physiques in the world with just some whey and creatine. he's only like 5'6" at 225 but he does look perfectly proportinal and he has unbelievable definition better than anybody at Mr.O. JMO

It sucks that Adelina got second she is an awesome lady. She works out at the Gold's Gym that I do. I see her do her routines and workouts, she is very hardcore about it too. I guess you have to be.

Adelia has really improved her rankings a lot and changes her physique constantly to try and please the judges (as they all do) i think that is the hardest part is trying to foresee what the judges are looking for at a particular competition.

Excuse my ignorance, What is the difference between fitness and figure categories?
|
2005/03/08, 04:19 PM
Basically, the fitness is a competition showcasing a woman's athletic and defined build, as well as her athletic abiltiy by way of a gymnastics routine.
Figure is relatively new, coming out of the desire by some competitors that did not want the gymnastics routine, and the less cut physique.
The funny thing is that fitness comps started 15 years ago to display athletic ability and the "feminine" build, whereas the figure comp is now more like the original fitness physique, and the fitness physiques now have more mass and cuts than the female bodybuilders pre-Cory Everson (early 80s)!!!!
