well just starting out........i'd say do 3 days a week, just to ge tin shape, before you get in shape lol...........next i'd decide if I wanna body build, or just get stronger.
For me to "bodybuild" is about getting bigger andmore toned and what not. that be a 4 day workout to me, cause you can split the body up more, and concentrate on skulpting and toning.
To get stronger to me 3 days is best, since you lifting the heavest weight possible few times, you need extra rest for this. I feel stronger have a day rest in between my heavy days.
Or you can do a four day week, 2 days focus on strength in that area, the other 2 days being lighter with different body parts.
All depends on you and how your body recovers, i'd do no more than 4 days a week personally. SOme can work out 5 days a week, and feel good, however they also sem to plateau alot too. But its your routine try different ones and see how they feel.
