It sure is tough to consume 2900 calories when you have to watch the fat. I guess I will have to add a supplemental drink. My metabolism better pick up or im gonna look like a fattened bull ready for the slaughter house. I guess if I loaded up for breakfast it would be easier. Sugar free Jam and whole wheat toast here I come. Anyone got any suggestions?
My two downfalls are mayo & eating at Mom's.

Fat Free Mayo! That and butter were our vices too. Leftovers from the Atkins phase. I have had to switch to sugar free, fat free or lowfat versions of most things that I can't live without. After a couple weeks you get used to the flavor change. I buy the cartons of eggwhites instead of whole eggs. Skim milk, fatfree cheeses and cottage cheese, sour cream etc. It can be done, but it takes a lot of label reading and calculating at first. My husband is on a 3800-4000 calorie diet and keeps the fat around 100g. About eating at Mom's....keep it down to once a week and call it your cheat meal.

Thanks AZ. I don't envy you or your husband for having to deal with that diet. Mine keeps the fat down to 40 something grams I think. That's the toughy. If I eatt High calorie it is almost all fat. Eating healthy you have to consume so much to get where you want to be. I am going to need a bigger lunch box and a longer lunch. Ive got to consume 800 more calories by bed time. I keep blowing the fat though.

Lots of sweet potatoes, brown rice and oatmeal will bring up your calories. Add some raisins to your oatmeal for a good calorie boost, you need high glycemic and low glycemic carbs. After your workouts or in the morning yoiu can afford to have some raisins in your oatmeal.
Nuts are full of good fat and will bring your calorie amounts up.
Good luck!

Personally I think the fat grams calculated here are a little low. Mine said 38 I think and I aim for 50. At least hald of it is from flax oil, olive oil and nuts, so I don't worry about it. I know what you mean about the lunch box. My husband works a 12 hour shift so does almost all of his eating at work so I've been looking for a bigger insulated one. The one he has is about 6 pack size.
