I am desperate to lose some weight I am at the biggest I have ever been, and I feel really depressed. I have a family reunion coming up in July and would really like to lose at least 20 pounds. I started walking yesterday about 3.4 miles. I feel really good about it, I just hope it helps me to keep it up. I moved a few weeks ago to the mountains in MD and oh my goodness there are tons of hills to walk up I thought I was going to die. but I guess it is good exercise.
I just need help, I need to learn self control, that is my biggest problem. Any suggestions I would appreciate anything.

Welcome to FT... great community with lots to offer. First, may I suggest filling out your profile.

Second, set up a fitness plan from FT... It's FREE!

Third, keep at the walking... I'm betting that's some great cardio with some great hills.

And lastly, but certainly not least, keep an eye on diet, portion size and what you eat. Check out the diet forum and print off the Grocery List... if it's not on there, don't eat it!
