I want to gain muscle and weight and have a nicely toned body but i especially want to gain strentgh and muscle mass on my shoulders chest and back. Will this happen with my chosen program.

This will happen with your chosen program. lol
Nutrition is the most important thing in building muscle mass...Try to get 137 grams of protein and keep your carbohydrates high. Eat about 2,300 calories a day...

Just protein shakes aren't gonna do it for you, gotta EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT!! If you want to bulk up, you not only need to eat but be sure its heathly food. By eating 3000+ calories a day for 3 straight weeks, it was the best gain I ever had. Eating 4 & 5 times a day is a little difficult to get started, but get past the first week and you'll adjust no problem. Good Luck

bovillsans,
Like you've heard many times over, you must eat. Eat 5 - 6 times a day preferrably. My suggestion would be to use the nutritional planner here at FT to get the approximate amount of calories needed. Use the "Grocer list for a bodybuilder" post on "Specific Diets..." category to help you choose healthy foods to eat. You need to get clean carbs (nothing white), protein, and fat to make optimal gains. Good luck!
