hey im new here and i just got my "nutrition plan" and i got a little conffused....
this is wat i got :
Personal Nutritional Profile - Calculated Daily Requirements
Protein -
182 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Carbohydrates -
424 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Fats -
84 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Total Calories -
3025 .. calculated maximum, do not exceed for current goal
thats cool so im assuming that this is wat i need to eat every day...
but then i go to check out wat food have wat properties, and i get this :
Calories Protein (g) Carbs (g) Fats (g)
oatmeal 145 6 25 2
now im assuming that this "key" is for each gram of oatmeal...
anyways if somebody could please help me out with this.

It's for each portion. I believe oatmeal portion is around 30-35g. I could be wrong though. Anyway, it's not for 1 gram of oatmeal for sure.

yea see thats wat i was afraid of...
ok so now that i know all the information about a "portion", where do i find out how much a "portion" is, i mean ok a portion of oatmeal is 30-35g but wat about for example a portion of... raisons?!

That would be for 1/2 cup dry oatmeal. Remember this is the key...protein...4 calories per gram, Carbohydrates...4 calories per gram, and fats...9 calories per gr., alcohol 7 calories. From this you can figure any serving size you want.

ah ok nevermind i got it : "serving sizes are 1 whole or 1 cup unless noted - all values are rounded"
