Ok this is a wierd question.
I have a condition known as Pectus Excavatum. It is a mild case and not too noticeable, yet enough to have me want to correct it. (Possibly)
I have worked out for a long time, but before it was to keep toned and not get any mass. But the past year plus, I have been trying to bulk up and put on mass (which I have done so successfully). I intend to join the sport of bodybuilding, going to shows, etc. I even took multiple college courses in the medical field, so I know a little (but not everything) about the human body (mostly because I once wanted to work in the medical field, but strayed into business administration instead). But that is off topic.
The question I have is how will my medical condition affect my results and future as a bodybuilder? Will judges look at that and put me down a peg because of it?
And second, if I do get corrective surgury (at a nifty price tag) will a scar across my chest also deter my results?
Kind of curious. Thanks!
