How much protein does 3oz ( 1 deck of cards ) of chicken meat contain?

I usually have around 3 oz of chicken meat for my lunch, but today I had around oz. The answer would help me in regulating my intake of protein. ( I take 2 x 22g of whey protein on training days )

Thanks

3 oz isn't much. What is the total you are aiming for? 6 oz is around 35g. Every pkg says something different, but it's about that. I try to get between 175-200g a day, so I eat 6oz at a serving. Same with tuna, 6 oz.

Protein percentages are best done on an individual basis depending on your workout times, etc. It is not really as simple as dividing up your protein between 5-6 meals. Though this is very good, and better than most, for optimal gains you could get even more techinical. For instance, here are good percentages for protein intake if you work out in the morning....
pre training....20%
post training....25%
post post training meal...15%
lunch....10%
mid day snack....10%
Dinner...10%
bed snack or shake...10%
Divide your protein in this manner to make 100% of your protein intake for the day. This may be more scientific than you want, but if you are "anal" enough, this is a good system.
