Here are the official rules of the AAFC (All Around Fitness Challenge):
Each competitor will have to have the actual stats to me no later than Sunday, January 11, 2009. All statistics will be confidential and seen by me only. Only actual gains/losses etc will be posted on the challenge thread for everyone to see their progress. Or we can keep that confidential as well if you choose it to be so. Everyone will be required to keep a daily or weekly log of their progress and diet during the challenge. This will be essential for others in the competition to see what is actually being done and utilized to help in the challenge as well as useful information for other members of the community to benefit from. There will be tTwo Categories to compete in, Weight Loss & Strength Gain since no one signed up for the Lean Mass Challenge. You can choose to do one category or both. The Categories and required information for each is listed below. Weight Loss Challenge: Stats due no later than Sunday, January 11, 2009 In the weight loss challenge, you will be required to report the following to me on a weekly basis: Weight Neck Shoulders Chest Back Waist Right Bicep Left Bicep Hips Left Thigh Right Thigh Left Calf Right Calf Below are some proven examples and results from last year?s WSCC Challenge as a guide to help you if you choose. Is the Strength Gain Challenge open to a weak novice who is still making pretty fast gains. Also, Can you give me a link or image which shows exactly where you want the measurements for the Weight Loss Challenge. Amy - Newbies can actually read the pro logs so you can keep yours in there, for the regular Ft members (non-pro) lets have them post a log in the forum, probably under this forum and mark it "AAFC Challenge Log (Name)".

OK, Here is my starting points...
For Bench and Squats a current full workout is sets reps # Squats: 3x5x145 - Today Flat Bench : 3x5x110 - Last Tuesday For Deadlift, I do a single workset of 5 reps 195# Last Tuesday Sadly, My Presses are slow to progress, and Today's DL was not good, but This challenge should help motivate me even more. Recently, my Squats have been moving fairly well. I hope this continues. I'm not really trying to lose weight, but I do still want to keep my measurements just for knowledge. I haven't actually taken them yet though. I'm currently keeping a log over at exrx.net and using fitsync.com , which is connected to my facebook account. But, if necessary, I will try and keep a weekly update for these three lifts here also. Cliff |

For instance I am aiming at 30 lbs weight loss. If I meet that challenge I get to HUG MYSELF!!! hehe....
