Well, let's see. In order to lose 1000 square frickin feet of carpet, I would think that one's head would have to be jammed pretty far up one's a$$. Of course, that's just my opinion.
Just keep telling yourself that if this is the worst thing that happens to me all day, I've had a pretty good day. And then tell the idiots who lost your carpet to dress nice and lie down on your floor until the carpet gets there.

I have a feeling its more than the carpet. The carpet didn't happen so 20 other things are now delayed. My world works like that and usually there are angry customers involved. Dfly, the most encouraging thing I can tell you is That 30 days after you open THIS WON"T MATTER. I promise it will be forgotten.. The place will be beautiful and you will feel like you died and went to heaven. Hang in there kid.

I guess all I can do is hope that they find it and get it in before Saturday. The forman of my buildout crew is so good to me, he told me not to worry, even if they can get it here by Friday afternoon...he and his crew would stay all night and get it in.
I gave all my employees heads up last night to prepare for the initiation of "plan ghetto", which consists of working in an unfinished atmosphere on Saturday. The spa section will be shut down and most clients will be inconvienced by a reschedule but prom only comes once in a lifetime so we will put some of that ugly brown paper down on the to-be carpeted areas, and do the teenagers anyway.
I figure the worse that can happen is that the county inspectors will be out my way on Saturday (yes, they work on Saturday here) and we could get hit with a fine for operating without having passed our final, but, I am prepared for that. I'll just charge it off to the retards that misplaced my carpet.
Anyway, I am going to try and spend my time being grateful that at least we have all the greek tile down in the application and cleansing areas...that won't save us...but at least it will cushion the fall a bit, right?

OOOh, don't fall on the tile!:)
DFLY, It will all workout, you are too strong to let this get you down! Look at all of the things that did get done...
Umm, maybe they misplaced the elephant that was carrying the 1000 feet of carpet?
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.
