u'll gain more FAT if u starve ur body.. the best way would be to sign up for FT's lean body and toning program.. and follow it.. eat 5-6 small but healthy meals during the day (yesss u read it right).. cut out all the junk food.. no sodas.. no cokes.. no alcohal.. no fast food.. (now do u want to lost weight? j/k  )
eat atleast 12 cals per body pound.. and u'll lose FAT.. otherwise u'll lose weight but that'll be mostly MUSCLES..
hope i helped...

Welcome, WITHTHETWINS! Guess you haven't gotten to the nutritional phase of your medical training yet, lol! *wink*
You have not mentioned "how" much weight you would like to lose. I believe, Ivan, had stated in a prior post that you need 15 calories per pound to maintain and 12 per pound to lose, as thedominator above also mentioned, so to lose you should begin with about 1668 calories per day, you may need to adjust from time to time as you lose. Watch doing too much cardio so you don't lose much of that precious muscle you have gained.
Good luck to you with your goals and your schooling!

Like everyone already pointed out...decrease calories slowly 100-300(no more than 500) calories every few weeks until you see the results you're looking for...otherwise you start losing unnecessary muscle mass (which you need despite what you may think)....looking toned for example....is a combination of lean muscle and fat....
