I am on a cutting phase. i want to burn off 10-15 pounds of pure fat (about 2 inched off my waist). i know drinking is supposed to be a no-no, but i eat healthy otherwise, and load up on protein everyday (I'm about 200 lbs. and i eat at least 200 g of protein a day). So I figure something like bacardi, which purportedly has 0 carbs, 0 fat and limited calories might not be so bad to drink once a week. I mean, should I expect drinking this stuff one day during the weekend to undo the hard work Ive done the other 6 days?
from personal experience, i can say no it wont. yes, it will impede progress, but all your hard work will not be for naught. depending on the specifics of what you are looking for (ie a ripped 6pack vis a lean body), alcohol can be a part of your diet.
